VO

50 years ago, a technology was invented which would allow you to see into the future.

Grainy 50s stock footage of crowd scene – people with 3-D glasses in theatre.

VO

Now, the future of the earth hangs in the balance.

CLOSE-UP

Reaction shots in glasses.  Three of audience figures laughing, ooh-ing.

ECU

Man’s glasses; eyeballs begin to press against the tinted cellophane like hard-boiled eggs.  The eyes pop out of cellophane, stretching toward the screen.  Animate eyeballs - digitally animated; don’t match.

CROWD SCENE

Audience’s tubelike, distended eyeballs being sucked toward screen experience.  With a whoop of pure joy, their eyeballs shoot into a 2001-like slit scan Universe with a 3-D “Ulitmate 3-D” logo stretching out toward you.

Eyeballs fly into a roller coaster environment, taking hairpin turns, big arcing swoops, loop-de-loops; the audience shrieking as at a funhouse.

PULL OUT

Last of eyeballs circling down and around a logarhythmic funnel (those change-eaters at the Natural History Museum), which is inside the “O” of “Monsters” (as the logo will reveal itself).

VO

This summer, an eye-popping 21st-century experience – only in theatres.
